I was trying to return an item I bought for my daughter. It was a pen and ink set but it wasn't what she thought it was going to be. I go to the front counter and some woman with dark brown or black long hair kind of short tells me that she cannot give me my money back because the ink has been opened and didn't try to do anything further. I then walk away and as I'm walking through the back door to enter into the mall I see the man who had helped me the day before when I bought it. I asked him if I could return things even if it has been opened. He told me to hold on and he called the manager for me. The manager said that they don't usually do it but he would do it for me that day. I just appreciate SIM for taking the extra mile and going out of his way to help me, my daughter will be so happy to hear that I was able to get her hard earned money back from her summer job. Thanks again SIM, you're awesome! Now everytime i go into barnes and noble, I'll look for him.
The store is great. They had what I wanted. I just hate the the long check out line due to all the address on up selling. That's what makes Amazon so appealing. You put the book in the cart and you are done. Also, hello it's cheaper.
I was looking for specific books for my son's school summer reading assignments. The salesperson walked us through the store, helping us find everything we needed. Very helpful! Always neat and well organized!
They always have amazing finds for every age and interest! And the staff has always been good to me. I bought insidious today for $6! Ready for a good jump scare :)
I love not having to ask my kids about books anymore. The staff is always sooooo helpful. They offer to look up a book if it isn't in the store and ship it to you for free, if you're a member.
