made an appointment, showed up but both agents had called in sick 9/it was a Monday, coincidence??
The employees there seem very nice. Its not like you just walk in there though. There is a security guard at the door. He will tell you whether you can go in or not. Just state your business. He may just direct you to the phone area. Like a self service. Ask questions, make appointment. etc. I think they only see people on certain days. Best to check. You go in from Quail Lake's Drive., (office complex). Go straight back. It's the Big building that backs right up to Interstate 5 freeway.
The worst place ever! First time when I came to ask for the information nobody even talked to me repeating like parrots: we see you by appointment only! Then I waited for my appointment for 2 weeks, got it and had to wait 1 hour to get the informatiom. Incompetent, badly-organized,disrespectful
Ok, Honestly I was so afraid to deal with the IRS! I went in Shaking! You do need to have an appointment but every time someone walked pass me they asked me what I needed and attempted to assist me. There was only one agent in the assistance part (that's why you need an appointment). One of the ladies gave me a number to call. They basically handled everything over the phone except for the forms and faxing them over. This office gave me the forms and faxed it to the agent that I was on the phone with. It took less than an hour. Extremely helpful people!! Thanks!!!
